Privacy

CreatorKids is used by children. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell any of it.

The short version

• The parent holds the account. Children never register, never give us an email, never set a password.
• We ask for a child's first name — so the app can say hello — and an age range you choose from a short list, so lessons are pitched at the right level. The age range is optional and you give it, not your child. Never a surname, a date of birth, a school, an address, or a photograph.
• Your child never gets an account with an AI company. All generation runs on our servers, with our keys.
• Nothing your child makes is public. Ever, unless you explicitly opt in.
• We do not advertise to children. Nothing that tracks or profiles anyone runs on any page your child uses — not a lesson, not the creator, not their portfolio.
• On our public sales pages we use Google and Meta advertising tools, which set their own cookies and let us show our ads to people who have visited us. Those tools never run once you are signed in, and they are never given your child's name, age or anything they made.
• We do not sell your child's data, and we never will. Nobody gets the account, the pictures, the notebooks or the lessons.

What we actually store

If you type your email into a buy button and then do not finish paying, we keep that address for up to 60 days so we can see how many people get stuck, and so a real person can offer to help. Ask us to remove it and it is gone for good — including from any future checkout you start.

From the parent:

• Your email address — to sign in, send you a link to set your password, and reach you about your account.
• Your password, stored only as a scrypt hash. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone who reads our database.
• Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

From the child:

• Their first name, and the age range you gave.
• The descriptions they type, and the pictures those produce.
• Which lessons they have watched and finished.

We keep the descriptions children type. We do this for one reason: a person reviews them for safety. It is how we find what our automatic filters missed. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training any model.

How the AI works

When your child describes a character, that description is checked against a safety filter, then sent from our server to our image provider using our account. The picture comes back, is checked again, and is stored on our server against your family's account.

Your child never creates an account with an AI provider, never agrees to anyone else's terms, and their descriptions are never attached to an identity outside CreatorKids.

The people in the course-introduction videos on our homepages are not real presenters. They were generated with AI, the same kind of tool the courses teach, and the words they say are ours. No real child appears in any of our videos.

Who can see your child's work

You and your child, when signed in. Our staff, when reviewing for safety or answering your support request. Nobody else. Images are served only to a signed-in member of your family — a link on its own is not enough.

Your rights as a parent

You can, at any time, ask us to:

• Show you everything we hold about your child.
• Delete it. All of it, including their pictures.
• Stop collecting anything further, while keeping or closing the account.

Reply to any email from us, or write to [email protected]. We will act within 30 days, and normally within two working days.

How long we keep things

• Creations and portfolio: while your account is open, and 30 days after you close it, so an accidental cancellation is recoverable.
• Safety logs: 12 months.
• Billing records: as long as tax law requires.

Cookies

Inside the signed-in app, one: a signed cookie that keeps you logged in. No advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers anywhere your child goes — not on a lesson page, not on anything they make.

On our public pages — the homepage, the course pages and this one — we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read before they buy. It sets its own cookies. It is never loaded once you are signed in.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will email you before it takes effect — not quietly update this page.
